AT THE AGE OF 9 YEARS OLD, SHE WOULD HELP HER GRANDMOTHER WITH HER REST HOME AND NURSING HOMES.
Home care has inspired Stephanie throughout her lifetime. At the age of 9 years old, she would help her grandmother with her rest home and home care agencies. Stephanie's infatuation with the industry grew and she quickly planned to expand into group home care. Realizing the magnitude of the project, she switched directions and went directly into learning how to run and manage home care agencies, where she has proven to be skilled and successful over the years.

Stephanie’s desire to help people in the healthcare industry has led her to create a platform to provide actionable and credible information to those aspiring to follow in her footsteps and start their very own home care agency. Her leadership, creativity and powerful business acumen skills make her stand out in any professional setting. The desire to serve others and watch those around her succeed is her ultimate drive in creating this easy to navigate platform.
AT THE AGE OF 22...
STEPHANIE BECAME THE YOUNGEST AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN TO OBTAIN A HOME CARE LICENSE IN NORTH CAROLINA.
She started out assisting family members and soon thereafter, built a name for herself and gained credibility all on her own. At the age of 22 years old, Stephanie became the youngest African American woman to obtain sustain a home care license in North Carolina providing for In-Home Aide Services, and immediately started helping other people open up their own agencies. Motivated and eager to get right to work, Stephanie began right away with 13 clients, and within 3 months, she was able to expand and acquire office space for her business. Stephanie continued to navigate through life’s natural rollercoaster of phases and uncertainties, while remaining resilient and strong in her craft. While in North Carolina, Stephanie worked in the Private Duty Nursing, Durable Medical Equipment, Case Management, capacity on the behavioral health side, working primarily with adults under 60 with mental health conditions.

Later in Stephanie’s journey, she received an opportunity to serve in a greater capacity in Pennsylvania. She went on to sell her home care license and moved north to start her journey as a Service Coordinator. As a Service Coordinator, Stephanie was tasked with the responsibility of putting all of the services together for clients. She quickly grew to 400 clients within 2 and a half years of commitment, perseverance, and dedication. She spearheaded and initiated projects to put together policies and procedures for those in Pennsylvania. People started reaching out for assistance with opening their own agencies.
Stephanie has proven to successfully operate and manage multiple businesses currently and throughout her journey. Some of which were learning experiences, and other opportunities that were built from the ground up.
